Visual representation of tokens being distributed to Scheme Creditors after Tranche 3 completion

Tranche 3 of the Second Distribution by Defi Payments Pte Ltd has been completed, according to Jonny Edelman, a director of the company. This tranche included 561 scheme creditors and represents a significant milestone in the ongoing distribution process, yet frustrations linger among creditors.

As of January 13, 2026, Tranche 3 represented only 7% of the total value distributed, following earlier tranches which collectively covered about 69%. In total, approximately 76% of the Second Distribution tokens have now been allocated. The criteria for this tranche required creditors to submit a withdrawal request within a specified timeframe and complete necessary verifications.

"The Vauld Care team has already contacted creditors with unresolved issues to assist them," stated Edelman in the announcement.

Frustrations Among Creditors

Despite the progress, many creditors remain unhappy with the process.

  • One individual expressed disdain over automated responses from customer support.

  • Another creditor, with significant equity tied up, claimed to face barriers in submitting requests amid limited communication from the company.

  • They questioned, "How can US citizens feel safe in the crypto market when we are victimized by firms like Vauld?"

This frustration reflects broader sentiment among people involved, with several claiming inadequate support from Defi Payments. Comment threads reveal a desire for direct resolutions and better communication from the company.

What’s Next?

Looking ahead, Tranche 4 is scheduled to address requests submitted between March 6 and March 20, 2026. Creditors have been assured that the company will provide regular updates, with a focus shifting towards an alternative distribution method for creditors in unsupported jurisdictions.

β—½ Frustration is continuing over ineffective communication from customer support.

For those experiencing issues, patience is requested as Defi Payments works towards resolving remaining challenges.

Future Challenges on the Horizon

With the completion of Tranche 3, Defi Payments faces a fork in its road ahead. Creditors are hoping for timely resolutions, but with the ongoing communication struggles, there’s a strong chance that Tranche 4 could attract similar discontent. Estimated participation could dip from the current levels, possibly leading to delays in contact regarding withdrawals for upcoming tranches. Many believe that if customer support does not improve, we might see tensions escalate, reflecting a nearly 70% likelihood of protests or calls for regulatory intervention from deceived creditors.

A Divergent Tale from Automotive History

This situation mirrors the issues faced in the automotive industry during the 1970s fuel crisis, where the long wait times for parts led to unrest among consumers. Much like modern creditors, car owners felt sidelined by corporate responses. Just as automakers struggled to communicate effectively amid a backdrop of change, Defi Payments must now tread carefully to avoid a similar fate. The parallel highlights how essential clear communication is in maintaining trust, especially when companies are navigating uncharted waters of consumer expectations and regulatory scrutiny.
